So, how did you enjoy the labor day? Did you work? Did you rest? Did you spoil your dog? did you jump in the sky and sing “Hava Nagila”? I hope so!
As always, here are this week’s top 4:
1. Chopper. You all remember our “DOGTV Star in The Making” competition? We had 3 excellent winners, whom we filmed for DOGTV (soon to be seen on the channel!!). Here is a tiny peek to how awesome Chopper, the biker dog, was on the shooting day! You gotta see this!
2. Service. September is National Service Dog Month, to celebrate the work of guide dogs and to show appreciation for guide dog schools across the United States. So this month, show your love and appreciation to the dogs that help the blind and others in need.
Here’s a clip of Scott Maclntyre, a blind contestant on American Idol, walking with judge Paula Abdul and guide dogs.
3. Portland. So what is the most dog friendly city in the U.S? many dog blogs and magazines have been making various lists for years, choosing the best cities to travel to with your dog. In recent years, Portland, Oregon was voted #1 (although, some blogs are naming Colorado Springs, Colorado, to be the new number 1, with Portland down to number 2). Anyway, you get the idea – Portland is a great place to travel to with your dog. Here’s what they had to say about DOGTV, on the local news. (video)
4. Nationwide. Upon completing our 6 months ‘test period’ in San Diego (on Cox and Time Warner Cable), we are very happy to say that we are now gearing up towards launching in more US markets! want to know when is DOGTV coming to your area? check out the ” News ” section on our website and be first to get all the updates when they happen!
I hope you’ll have a great week!
