Hi Humans,
As always, here are this week’s top 4 (you know the drill – a dog has 4 legs, and so does this blog…)
1. Halloween. So Halloween is next week, and many pet parents are getting ready to dress up their pooch, and participate in pet contests. Halloween costumes are becoming really popular among pet owners:
The National Retail Federation has projected pet owners will spend $370 million this Halloween to dress up a family animal member. We wish you a great Halloween – just don’t make the costumes too scary (yes, they can be really scary…)

2. Friendship. This is a sad story. In Russia a dog has been filmed standing guard next to its canine companion for seven days after it was hit by a car. The dog had apparently dragged the dead animal from the roadside in the outskirts of Filippovka, in the Perm region of Russia. Its lengthy vigil attracted the attention of locals, who gathered around and tried to tempt it away with food and water. But the animal became aggressive and refused to allow onlookers to come within 10m of the body.”It’s very sad. He won’t let anyone near her and he keeps trying to warm her up with his own body,” one bystander told local media.
This sad story demonstrates, once again, the strong connection, love and loyalty dogs have with their owners – and with their companion animals.
3. Sad. Speaking of sad stories of dog loyalty, here’s a sad video about dog’s loyalty to his boss. Amazing.
4. Victoria. I don’t know about you, but I really love Victoria Stilwell. She’s cool, she’s nice and she’s a great dog trainer. oh, and she’s got a great British accent! Victoria will be DOGTV’s special guest on our Facebook page, so you’re welcome to ask her anything about dogs, training and TV. Join her for the live chat this coming Thursday, 25.10, at 4pm est.

Humans – we are here to answer ANY question you may have! Let us know your thoughts on DOGTV, write to us at info@dogtv.com, and don’t forget to watch – on Roku, Online, or on Time Warner and Cox in San Diego. Leave a little love on!!

I prefer not to dress my dogs up in costumes!
