Hi Humans,
I hope you had a pawesome weekend!
As the weather here in San Francisco was sunny and beautiful, I was looking for something fun to do this weekend. Luckily, I remembered that Beverly Ulbrich, AKA The Pooch Coach, is hosting a huge dog meetup in a park in Diamond Heights. I rushed there, and was happy to see so many beautiful dogs and their also-beautiful humans attending this fun event!
The moment I got there, Beverly “kidnapped” to be a judge in the training contest she organized. I, of course, refused, because all dogs looked so great – how can you vote for 1st or 2nd place – just give prizes to all of them! – but Beverly insisted, and when Beverly insists you just have to do it. I guess that’s why she’s such a great trainer – you just have to do what she says. So I found myself judging the contest together with Beverly and Pipi Ray Diamond from Soulful Pet Photography.
I was surprised to see that most of the dogs in the training contest did really well, and were succeeding in some not so easy tasks like “sit”, “stay”, “shake” and “roll over”.
Some dogs, however, did better than others, and showed really advanced skills. The winner dog was super great, and demonstrated some entertaining dancing moves, which should, in my opinion, not just announce him the winner in this contest, but also in the show “Dancing with the Dogs” (Soon on DOGTV?)
The winner got a Whistle tracker (Katie from Whistle was there too, explaining about this cool device) and a 3 months subscription to DOGTV Anywhere.
Overall, It was a really cool event, which demonstrated once again, that there is nothing better than a sunny-doggy-San-Francisco-weekend-day!
