How are you feeling? good? great? amazing? I hope so!
so many new and exciting things are happening with DOGTV nowadays, so I hope to share with you some info soon… Also, if you have some great photos of your pooch get them prepared – cause something BIG is coming soon…
1. Photos. Speaking of photos, the Kennel Club Dog Photographer of the Year competition took place recently, and has announced its winners. Held annually, the contest is open to both professionals and amateurs, young and old, from all around the world – and this year attracted 5,000 entries.
This year’s overall winner was Catherine Laurenson, from Glasgow, for her photo of a Border Collie
I really loved this photo, voted Second place runner-up in the Man’s Best Friend category (Photo taken by Catherine MacGrego)
…And this one too!
2. BDOG. Are you already familiar with “Text from Dog“? It’s a really cool blog that shows text messages a guy gets from his dog. It’s funny and crazy, and it can always put smile on your face!
3. Breeds. Do you love dogs? do you recognize every dog breed you see? if so, come and join us on “The Daily Quiz”! Everyday on our Facebook page we show you a picture of a dog. The First 10 to recognize the breed everyday get a FREE MONTH OF DOGTV! It’s fun and educational! See you there!!
4. Health. We all know that owning a pet is fun, great and very, very cute. But it’s also really good for your health! I’m not saying that if you sneeze and get a dog you’ll be healed – If anything, you might start sneezing more (I know, I’m allergic!). But It can reduce your stress and lower your blood pressure, for example. Here are 8 health benefits of having a pet, which is a great read.
DOGTV, The First TV Channel for Dogs, is also available online (dogtv.com) and on Roku players. You can also get DOGTV apps for your iPhone, iPad and Andriod.
I hope you all have a great week,
