Hi Humans,
The end of the year is near, Christmas is just around the corner, and it’s that time of the year when we all gather with our families, and with our dogs, for some great moments with our loved ones.
These family moments are a great excuse to write a few words about how to keep your dog clean these holidays, so your dog – and the new year – will have a great smell!

Usually, a dog needs a bath when he has a doggy smell, when he rolled in something that smells, when he has fleas and so on. I believe that no excuses are needed during holiday season to clean your dog and spoil him with a good bath.
A few tips to remember about bathing. . .
1. Always use a shampoo formulated for dogs. Human shampoos have a different pH level and often use harsher detergents than pet shampoos.
2. Start bathing your dog when he or she is young so bath time will be easier as your dog ages.
3. Don’t forget to brush! Brushing and removing mats should always be done before the bath.
Every dog needs a bath from time to time so follow your instincts and your dog and your family will thank you for it.
Here is a nice video on how to bath your dog.

During the past week we’ve received some sweet pictures of your dog having a bath. These pictures are so great, because they demonstrate, once again, that each dog is different, and have its own “shtick” – even when it comes to taking a bath. Here are some of your best pics:
